Italian Style Extras
What I love about soup recipes and cooking in the slow cooker is that you can add what you like or have in your pantry and leave out what you don’t like! Make this soup with any type of beans you prefer, butter beans, white beans or Berlotti beans. Try chicken, ham hocks, bacon or leave the meat out! The same goes for the herbs, dried or fresh. Basil, Oregano, Thyme and Rosemary all work well. Share with us in the comments below what you find works well!
